In March 2004, Jim Poma, former owner of Poma Glass in Boardman Ohio, and Keith Jarmusch, CPA embarked on an adventure together. Friends and business associates, they had an opportunity to become partners and owners of a new company. They purchased the assets of the closed manufacturer as a foundation of equipment in order to enter the window industry. In honor of the mark Graef Window Technologies had made on the window industry over the years, they chose to name their company Graef Windows. They immediately began to add new equipment and technologies, new products, a new management philosophy, and a new lease on life!  Jim and Keith moved the operation and 50 knowledgeable employees to a modern 58,000 square foot facility in Boardman. This move to a large, bright, open facility enabled the operation to be laid out in a manner that maximizes production efficiencies, optimizes material flow, and is wired to enable use of state-of-the-art software with modern equipment.

After the sudden passing of Jim Poma, and Keith Jarmusch' departure to the Carolinas, the business was left in the hands of Jim's wife, Kim. She runs the business in his honor, depending on the loyalty and knowledge of dedicated longtime friends and employees. Today, Graef continues its presence in the local market with its offering of beautiful vinyl replacement windows and related products. There is a commitment to quality and customer-satisfaction, and a commitment to each Graef employee that is prevalent in every decision that is made. Graef is proud to continue its presence in the industry, offering a wide variety of windows to its dealers and distributors.
